Staffing Coordinator Job Description:

A growing pharmaceutical company in the bay area is actively interviewing for a staffing coordinator to join their HR team. The responsibility of the staffing coordinator will be to provide administrative support to the staffing team with a large emphasis on scheduling candidate interviews, and other duties noted below. This position will be reporting directly to an HR Manager.

-Schedule interviews in Outlook and Taleo
-Perform background checks on perspective candidates
-Ensure documentation completeness for EEO compliance (AAP)
-Assist with managing temporary employee lifecycle including liaising with temp agencies and managers to identify temporary candidates and managing new hire and term notifications
-Compile temp headcount report
-Annual review of MVR checks on applicable employees
-Assists with coordination of the on boarding process, including calling new hires, notifying managers, and setting up employee files
-Filing, copying, word-processing, and correspondence
-Other duties as assigned

Looking for candidates that have the following experience and qualifications:
-1-3 years of experience working in a professional environment.
-Responsive to deadlines, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-May handle special projects and execute research and data analysis tasks.
-Analyzes moderately complex problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data and prepares reports and recommendations.
-Consistent and timely attendance is required.
-Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
-Experience with both Excel and Outlook
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
