Administrative Assistant
Aerotek has partnered up with a Washington DC based company in search of an Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistant II performs various administrative functions for large departments and executive management.
Functions involve the preparation of certain reports, the analysis of reports with recommended actions, and the supervision and/or monitoring of work activities within the group for the responsible executive. This position often coordinates the administrative-support services of the group.
Responsibilities include:
1) Providing wide range of administrative support to upper management. These include answering the phone, scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, some filing, ordering supplies, creating letters, spreadsheets, reports and presentations
2) Creating correspondence and reports. Assisting with the design and development of presentations
3) Assisting with departmental event planning including: budget management, vendor selection and event planning
4) Assisting in departmental budget management. Researching and reconciling discrepancies, and monitoring and reviewing related reports including expense, purchasing and HR forms
5) Acting as a lead in coordinating administrative support services for the group
6) Assisting in special projects, which may require compiling data and analysis.
