Senior Buyer
Join a market leader and manufacturer of high-performance cooling products for use in the military and medical markets. Current seeking an immediate need for a Senior Buyer responsible, but not limited to the following functions:
* Obtaining critical materials, components, equipment and services.
* Evaluate vendor reliability and pursue new vendors as needed
* Conduct supplier audits which would require some travel
* Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, engineering and the service department while maintaining inventory at planned levels
Candidate must meet the following criteria:
* Working knowledge of MRP
* Proven track record of cost reduction success as well as
* Confident negotiation skills
* Bachelors Degree preferred
* At least 7 years working knowledge within Manufacturing industry
